Overview
We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience with various machining and fabrication processes. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Duties
- Operate OD/ID grinding machines to process new and damaged cylindrical components.
- Ensure all grinding operations meet customer specifications and tolerances with high accuracy.
- Utilize micrometers and other precision instruments for quality control and inspection.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products to meet specifications.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and stamping presses safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Experience in operating OD/ID grinding equipment.
- Knowledge of grinding processes and specifications.
- Quality control and inspection skills.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proper use of jib or overhead cranes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
