We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and clinical counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. - Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions focusing on mental health issues such as PTSD, grief, addiction, gender issues, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and chronic pain management
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology collaboration, and crisis intervention strategies
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling services while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate medical documentation
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating medical terminology and behavioral health best practices; monitor progress through data collection and case management
- Engage in clinical research activities to enhance treatment approaches; stay current with ICD coding updates and CPT coding for billing purposes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive support for individuals with disabilities or complex mental health needs
Experience
- Valid licensure as an LPC-A or LCSW with active certification in relevant states; experience working within outpatient clinics or inpatient settings preferred
- Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and group therapy
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, and individuals facing trauma or PTSD
- Experience conducting crisis management and crisis intervention; adept at managing acute mental health episodes with professionalism and compassion
- Familiarity with medical records management using electronic health records (EHR) systems; understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
- Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnosis documentation; experience with CPT coding for billing is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for intake interviews, patient assessment, social work interventions, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and special education support

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
