Job Summary
Join our growing culinary team, you will be trained on exactly what we need you to do and how to do it by a Chef who truly loves food and taking care of people. This position is for a dedicated person with a passion for food and basic culinary skills. we are a catering company with daily business keeping us busy. Majority of your cooking will be done at the home location with a possibility to work on catering jobs. Must be trustworthy and able to be independent after training period.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Execute food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently
- Cook menu items with consistency, attention to quality, and adherence to food safety protocols
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food with precision
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Qualifications
- Must be clean and neat everyday. Nails cut close, facial hair trimmed and clean at all times.
- having a knife is recommended but not required.
- non slip shoes is a must.
- have transportation to and from work.
- must be a good person and have respect for everyone.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately and adapt quickly to changing priorities
