Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming appointments and handling cancellations.
- Monitor patient vital signs when necessary to ensure their health during procedures.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment in the clinic.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care for patients, including those in pediatrics.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, medical records, and medical documentation is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices.
- Ability to assist effectively in various dental procedures while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Proficiency in understanding vital signs and basic medical terminology will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
