Job Description:
The Gin Hotel is hiring Front Desk Agents for year-round, in-person positions at our historic downtown Lexington property.
We are currently hiring with immediate need for weekend Morning Shift coverage (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays). We are also looking to fill 3 to 4 additional Afternoon/Evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) during the week as part of our ongoing team expansion.
This is a posting intended to build a reliable team of hospitality professionals who are looking for consistent work, not just seasonal employment. While we may hire for specific openings first, we are especially looking for candidates who are interested in staying on with us beyond the immediate need.
We can be flexible with part-time or full-time availability depending on the candidate, but weekend and holiday availability is required for all positions.
Front Desk Agents are the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in the overall guest experience. Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, answering phones, processing reservations, assisting with guest requests, coordinating with housekeeping, and maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby and front desk area. This is a guest-facing role ideal for someone who is friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Available Shifts:
Morning (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, weekends required)
Afternoon/Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Overnight/Night Audit (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Requirements:
Reliable, professional, and friendly with strong communication skills
Weekend availability required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Hospitality or customer service experience is a plus (paid training provided)
