Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies promptly, and communicate needs to management to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service by checking IDs, recognizing signs of intoxication, and adhering to all legal requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment, preferably within fine dining or hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail techniques, wine varieties, brewing processes, and craft beer trends.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate sales transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, catering events, banquet service, or retail math is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management are essential.
