Overview
Join our educational team as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, dedicated to students with diverse learning needs. We have elementary, middle school and high school resource positions, preschool and behavior focused classroom openings. This is a 1099 ind. contractor position.
Duties
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with each student’s needs and learning goals
- Adapt curriculum materials and classroom activities to accommodate students
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies
- Use learning technology and instructional design tools to enhance student engagement
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, IEP goals, behavioral data, and communication logs
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children with disabilities
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and external service providers
- Ability to plan lessons effectively while adapting to the unique needs of each student
- Experience utilizing learning technology tools for instructional purposes and progress assessment
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
