Duties
- Engage with residents through canvassing to promote organizational initiatives and gather support
- Communicate clearly and persuasively to explain the purpose of campaigns and answer questions
- Build rapport with community members, fostering trust and enthusiasm for our cause
- Collect signatures
- Coordinate with team members to strategize effective canvassing routes and schedules
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, responses, and collected data
- Assist in training new team members on canvassing techniques and communication best practices
Experience
- Supervising experience or leadership roles in community outreach or sales environments preferred
- Strong background in marketing, customer service, or sales activities
- Experience with door-to-door canvassing or telemarketing highly valued
- Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse communities are a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and persuade confidently
- Proven success in fundraising or advocacy campaigns is advantageous
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, active environment demonstrating adaptability and resilience
