We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our team at our New Jersey facility. In this role, you will serve as a key resource ensuring our operations, products, and partner factories meet all applicable regulatory, certification, and audit standards. You will work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and external stakeholders to maintain a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility Audits & Certifications
- Coordinate and manage facility audits conducted by third-party organizations including SGS, UL, and the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC)
- Ensure our NJ facility operations, processes, and documentation remain aligned with all audited standards and certification requirements
- Track audit findings and corrective action plans through to resolution
Partner Factory Compliance
- Coordinate and track required audits for partner factories, maintaining an up-to-date compliance calendar and records database
- Work with partner factories to obtain, verify, and file necessary certifications and audit documentation
- Communicate audit requirements and deadlines to relevant stakeholders
Product Compliance & Inspections
- Coordinate on-site product-specific inspections and sampling activities requested by retail customers in their stores
- Ensure children’s products comply with all applicable federal and state safety regulations (e.g., CPSIA, ASTM standards)
- Maintain accurate records of product certifications, test reports, and compliance documentation
Regulatory Monitoring & Updates
- Monitor and track state-specific regulatory changes and legislative updates that may impact business operations or product compliance
- Assess the impact of new or changing laws and communicate required process adjustments to relevant departments
- Maintain a regulatory change log and ensure timely implementation of required updates
Sales & Account Support
- Partner with sales accounts to collect, verify, and maintain required certifications and compliance documentation
- Serve as a compliance resource for the sales team to address customer regulatory inquiries
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Environmental Science, Legal Studies, or a related field — or equivalent work experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple compliance tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey compliance requirements to internal teams and external partners
- Highly organized with strong record-keeping practices
Preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, quality assurance, or related role
- Familiarity with audit processes and standards (SGS, UL, RJC, CPSIA, or similar)
- Experience tracking regulatory requirements across multiple U.S. states
- Background in the jewelry, consumer goods, or retail industry
