Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Clover POS
- Prepare and serve food items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Process cash, credit card, and retail transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, dining tables, and cashier stations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling of food products
- Manage customer orders through food handling procedures, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction
- Assist with bussing tables, sanitation, and overall restaurant cleanliness to uphold health standards
- Handle retail sales transactions if applicable, including processing grocery or retail store purchases
Qualifications
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems; cashiering experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, and handling kitchen equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Food industry experience including serving, bussing, sanitation, and food safety practices is desirable
- Previous retail or grocery store experience is advantageous but not required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
