Beginnings Treatment is a licensed residential treatment program providing comprehensive care for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a structured and supportive environment.
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and motivated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to support clients in our inpatient residential setting. BHTs play a critical role in maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment while assisting clients in their daily routines and recovery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and support to clients in a residential treatment setting
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with program rules and structure
- Assist with client admissions, orientations, and discharges
- Monitor client behavior and report any concerns to clinical or medical staff
- Facilitate or support group activities as needed
- Document client observations and incidents in the electronic health record (KIPU)
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing in accordance with program protocols
- Transport clients to appointments or outside meetings when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
Qualifications
- Please have experience in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment (Knowledge of KIPU, MS Teams, Rounds, Medications, Etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle crisis situations appropriately
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
- Active/Current RADT/SUDRC Certification
Schedule Options
- NOC (Overnight Shift) 10:30pm - 7:00am
- Monday through Sunday availability prefered
- 5 Days a week
