We are seeking a experienced
Operations Manager –Warehouse & Beverage Logistics to oversee all warehouse operations supporting ourconvention center and special event bar services. This position is responsible for managinginventory, coordinating event logistics, supervising warehouse personnel, and ensuringbars and equipment are prepared and delivered according to event specifications. The idealcandidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading a team in a fast-pacedenvironment.Operations & Logistics
Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and maintain a clean, safe, and organizedwork environment.
Manage the preparation, loading, transportation, and staging of bars, Cambros, and barequipment for events.
Ensure all bars are built and stocked according to event specifications and delivered onschedule.
Coordinate with event leaders and staff to ensure successful execution of events.Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory of liquor, wine, beer, mixers, juices, garnishes, cups, napkins,and all bar supplies.
Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor product usage and identify replenishment needs.
Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of alcoholic beverages and perishable items.
Minimize waste, breakage, and product loss.Event Coordination
Meet regularly with the sales team to review upcoming events and understand clientrequirements.
Prepare beverage packages and event supplies based on event contracts.
Communicate with clients as needed regarding beverage selections, special requests, andevent logistics.
Assist in resolving operational issues and accommodating last-minute changes.Team Leadership
Supervise and develop warehouse personnel responsible for building and staging bars.
Schedule and assign duties to warehouse team members.
Train employees on company procedures, inventory controls, safety practices, and equipment handling.
Promote accountability, teamwork, and high performance.Purchasing & Vendor Relations
Assist with ordering liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and supplies.
Work with vendors to maintain proper inventory levels and ensure product quality.
Monitor costs and recommend efficiencies to improve profitability.Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with all company policies and TABC regulations.
Maintain a safe warehouse environment and enforce safety procedures.
Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, hospitality, beveragemanagement, catering, or event logistics.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Knowledge of liquor, wine, beer, and bar operations preferred.
Experience with inventory management and purchasing.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment.
TABC Certification preferred
