Job Summary
Eterna Vein & Medical Aesthetics is a South Sound based vein and aesthetic practice located in Puyallup, WA. We have a reputation for taking extraordinary care of our clients and patients, and for developing deep and caring relationships with them.
We are looking for a hard working, intelligent, outgoing, charismatic team player to join our outstanding team of skilled professionals whose number one priority is to deliver excellent results with exemplary customer service. The person we hire must be a self-starter and capable of managing their work duties and time in an efficient manner without needing constant direction. We are looking for a top performer who uses down time to improve themselves and the office instead of wasting time on social media or idle conversation. We shun office drama and gossip so those who enjoy those things need not apply.
We believe that our employees are our greatest assets and that our success depends on helping our employees be the best that they can be. Everyone in our office has a voice and we make important decisions as a team. You will be valued and respected at Eterna.
Responsibilities and Duties
The person we hire will be thoroughly trained by our current Medical Assistant and Office Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, rooming patients, utilizing our EMR to input patient information, scheduling procedures, assisting patients in utilizing their insurance benefits, working directly with Dr. Kim and assisting him in the procedure room, delivering outstanding customer service to our patients, working at the front desk periodically depending on need, and anything else the office requires to operate at a high level.
Qualifications and Skills
At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is required as well as the ability to speak fluently in English and preferably Spanish. Experience in delivering outstanding customer service would be helpful for the times that you will be working at the front desk greeting patients and answering phone calls. Basic computer skills such as Word and Excel would be useful as well. BLS and ACLS certification will be provided if you do not already have that.
Benefits
A 401(k) retirement plan is available after one year of employment. Periodic bonuses will be granted at the discretion of the owners. In-office treatments are available to all team members after 90 days of employment. 7 paid holidays per year with a generous PTO policy.
