Our family-owned and operated office is seeking a full-time optician to join our team.
The responsibilities of this position include:
* Assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their needs.
* Performing eyewear troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments.
* Handling insurance pricing and billing.
* Inspecting and dispensing incoming glasses to patients.
* Collaborating with frame representatives to select eyewear for resale and stocking.
In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our physicians and optical labs, interpreting prescriptions and addressing visual needs. You will also be responsible for the accurate and efficient insurance billing of purchased materials.
We are looking for someone with the following skills, qualities, and interests:

* Proficiency in eyewear troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments
* Adaptability to new equipment and techniques
*Optical experience preferred but willing to train
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
