Position Type: Part-Time Internship (10–15 hours/week)
Compensation: Eligible for college internship credit and a complimentary Unlimited Membership at Soleil Movement Studio for the duration of the internship (a $135/month value).
About Soleil Movement Studio
Soleil Movement Studio is Dayton's premier boutique Mat Pilates and wellness studio, dedicated to creating an inclusive space where movement is medicine. We are passionate about community, creativity, and making wellness accessible to everyone. We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative Social Media Intern to help tell our story, showcase our community, and grow our online presence while gaining valuable hands-on marketing experience.
Position Overview
The Social Media Intern will work closely with the studio owner to create engaging content, capture the energy of the studio, and support marketing initiatives across multiple platforms. This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Business, Photography, Videography, or related fields.
Responsibilities
· Capture photo and video content during classes, events, and workshops.
· Create engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, and static posts.
· Assist with planning monthly content calendars.
· Edit short-form videos using Canva, CapCut, or similar software.
· Maintain Soleil's clean, elevated, and welcoming brand aesthetic.
· Draft captions and schedule social media posts.
· Research trends, hashtags, and trending audio.
· Monitor engagement and assist with responding to comments and messages.
· Promote upcoming classes, workshops, memberships, and events.
· Attend community events to capture content when available.
· Assist with email newsletters and promotional materials.
Qualifications
· Currently enrolled in a college or university.
· Eligible to receive internship credit.
· Passion for social media, marketing, or content creation.
· Creative, dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
· Experience using Canva.
· Familiar with Instagram and TikTok.
· Basic photography and videography skills.
· Professional communication skills.
