Route Sales Representative, Full-Time
Qualifications:
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Have and maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding and/or safety violations.
- Demonstrate excellent skills in the operation of vehicles and have a verifiable minimum of 2 years’ experience in safe and successful driving.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service as well as route sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, as well as good time management skills.
- Recognize colors, sizes and types of tooling, count, add and subtract accurately.
Education:
- High School graduation or similar experience.
Travel Requirements:
- Daily, by delivery vehicle within a route.
Typical Environmental Conditions:
- Operating vehicles on public roads, in and out of customer locations.
- Loading, indoor and outdoor areas of a typical industrial facility.
Typical Physical Activity:
- Sitting, grasping, driving, stooping, climbing stairs, moving carts up to 500 lbs., lifting up to 75 lbs., standing, walking, speaking, hearing.
Work Location:
- On the road throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

Schedule:
- 4 days a week, 5 days a week once a month.
- 300-400 miles per day, on average.

Summary:
- The Route Sales Representative meets customer needs through providing/up-selling our services and providing impeccable customer service through proactively managing all route responsibilities. Reports to the Office Manager.
Job Description:
- Solicit new customers, provide/up-sell services and ensure a profitable margin of services performed.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding the integration of new customers, managing current customer’s needs and all other aspects of service.
- Ensure customer loyalty and retention by providing outstanding customer service. Build relationships, educate customers, communicate and manage customer needs. Proactively resolve any concerns with supervisor cooperation.
- Safely operate the delivery vehicle on each trip. Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform regular vehicle inspections.
- Keep route paperwork current.
- Monitor and report competitive activity.
- Return from route and off load tools in the receiving area of the facility.
- Accurately prepare route paperwork and follow check-in procedures.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks directed by supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,100.00 - $5,000.00 per month
