We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fireplace Installer to join our dynamic fireplace store and construction team. We offer a friendly and flexible work environment and look at everyone who works here as family .
We are looking for a full time salaried employee and or a qualified sub contractor.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fireplaces, including traditional wood-burning, gas, and electric models, ensuring each installation meets safety standards and customer specifications In a new construction environment .
Your expertise will contribute to creating warm, inviting spaces for our clients while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed construction plans, manuals , technical drawings, and specifications related to fireplace installations.
- Install fireplaces of various types, including gas, electric, and wood-burning units, ensuring proper placement and secure mounting. Installing pipe and ensuring terminations are flashed and sealed properly from rain Exposure .
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and ladders safely and efficiently during installation processes.
- Coordinate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and masonry teams to ensure seamless project execution While on job site .
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures while operating equipment like lifts or scaffolding on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while documenting progress through job reports or logs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fireplace installations , service and overall building construction knowledge .
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation safely on construction sites.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately for precise execution.
- Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards during all phases of installation.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients alike.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
