Customs Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Analyst / Entry Writer to support import/export operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations while supporting daily shipment activity, documentation, and reporting. We are looking for someone with a Customs Broker License.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HTS classification, valuation, and country-of-origin determinations
- Review and validate shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, transport docs)
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs (CBP) regulations and import/export requirements
- Work closely with customs brokers to manage daily declarations
- Utilize ACE Secure Data Portal for filings and reporting
- Support post-entry corrections (PSC) and audit activities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation processes
- Collaborate with supply chain, suppliers, and internal teams
- Assist with duty impact analysis and cost calculations
- Support compliance initiatives including USMCA, CTPAT, and AEO programs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Customs Analyst, Entry Writer, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and HTS classification
- Experience with ACE Portal and ABI filing
- Background in import/export compliance
- Experience working in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Customs Broker License (preferred, not required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
