Southeastern Machining & Field Service is a family-owned precision machining company that has been in business since 1990. We are currently looking to add a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to our growing team.
We are a job shop and production machining facility serving a variety of industries with both custom and repeat manufacturing work. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow with our company long-term. This position offers hands-on work, in-house training opportunities, and room for advancement within a supportive small-business environment.
Pay
- $26.00–$30.00 per hour

Position Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Machine parts to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine adjustments
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Work with both custom job shop projects and production runs
- Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and quality
Qualifications
- Previous manual and/or CNC lathe experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
