- Call Requirements:
- No Wednesdays (typically a call day)
- 10 call shifts per month
- Weekend call: 24‑hour coverage
- Weeknight call: overnight until 07:00
- Pay Range: $85–$90 per hour
Job Description
The Radiology / Cardiology – Interventional Radiology Technologist will function as a core member of the Hybrid Endovascular team, supporting neuro‑endovascular, neurosurgical, structural heart, and peripheral vascular patient populations. A significant portion of this role focuses on stroke care within a Comprehensive Stroke Center, requiring strong neuro‑interventional experience and the ability to perform under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during complex vascular and neuro‑endovascular procedures
- Scrub cases, manage wires, catheters, and devices
- Operate fluoroscopy and angiography systems (GE & Siemens)
- Support structural heart and peripheral vascular interventions
- Maintain sterile technique and anticipate physician needs
- Prepare patients, verify documentation, position, and monitor during procedures
- Assist with post‑procedure care and recovery
- Document accurately using EPIC
- Work effectively in emergency situations, especially stroke cases
Required Credentials
- ARRT (R)
- BLS
- ACLS*
- Fluoro Permit*
- Indiana State License
- EPIC charting experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Experience in:
- Interventional Radiology
- Cardiac Cath Lab
- Neuro‑Interventional procedures
- Vascular imaging and interventions
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT(VI) Vascular‑Interventional certification
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience in active cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP labs
- Bachelor of Science degree
