Coastal Center is looking for a Program Manager to oversee the DUI and Batterer's Intervention Program's to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person position with each program having unique and separate qualifications. Prior certification is preferred, but we are willing to work with an individual who is the right fit for our team.
The person in the Program Manager role, will manage referrals from various courts, completing screening interviews for individuals who have been convicted of certain offenses, referring to approved services providers, monitoring treatment engagement and progress, and reporting screening interview or treatment outcomes to the referring court. This individual will need to be comfortable attending court to report an individual’s court objectives/process. Clear communication skills are essential.
To qualify for certification an ADSS, you must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:
- Have an active ADSS certification in the state of Oregon or
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field, or
- Have an Associate's degree in a behavioral health field and two years of full-time, supervised experience providing substance use disorder evaluation or treatment, or
- Have four years of full-time, supervised experience in the behavioral health services field with a minimum of two years of experience providing substance use disorder evaluation or treatment.
The Batterer's Intervention Program credentials are generally acquired through on the job experience, in-person hours and training per Oregon requirements. If the candidate doesn't have the necessary credentials, those can be built in as part of the on-boarding and training process.
Coastal Center, LLC is located on the Southern Oregon Coast, and we have programs that serve our local and extended communities. We have been in practice for over 40 years and have an outstanding reputation around the state in providing treatment services to clients in a number of different settings including: residential, close custody, and outpatient. Our services include individual, group, marital, and family therapy as well as consultation/evaluation and training to numerous agencies in the area.
