The Goddard School of Worcester is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Coordinator to support our Preschool and Pre-K programs. This position plays an important role in supporting teachers, maintaining high-quality classroom programs, strengthening family relationships, and ensuring that our school continues to provide an exceptional early learning experience.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to teachers in developing and implementing core and enrichment curriculum
- Develop and/or assist with classroom and enrichment schedules while maintaining appropriate staffing levels in accordance with school and state requirements
- Lead and support teacher observations, orientation, training, coaching, and professional development
- Promote children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development by adapting activities to meet individual needs
- Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members
- Provide positive guidance and support children's social-emotional development
- Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with children and their families
- Understand and consistently implement Goddard Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Participate in required and recommended training programs, conferences, and other professional development opportunities
- Monitor and maintain program compliance with Goddard Quality Assurance (QA) standards
- Oversee and support daily classroom operations and documentation, including daily reports, Kaymbu, COR Advantage, portfolios, and related materials
- Perform other duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; candidates currently enrolled in a degree program may also be considered
- Previous administrative, supervisory, or leadership experience in a childcare or educational setting
- EEC Director II Certification for Infant/Toddler and Preschool
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Availability to work within the school's operating hours of 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
General Qualifications:
Candidates must meet applicable state requirements and the national hiring standards, including:
- Ability to hear conversational speech, with or without a hearing aid
- Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood under normal circumstances
- Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during an emergency
- Ability to respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
