American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active GA or Compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications, with every-other-weekend availability.

Position is based in an Emergency Department (ED) setting in Decatur, GA

Floating to the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is required as needed

Schedule requires working every other weekend

Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS

Minimum 18 months of RN experience required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a separation of 18 months is required

RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or a maximum of 3 days if the time off falls on or near a holiday

Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract

RTO requests during the holiday period must be spread out and will not be approved if they consist of several consecutive days
