Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Residential Lead Installer with at least 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in newly constructed homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans. Duties
- Install new HVAC systems in residential properties according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to facilitate accurate installations
- Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Cross train with electrical and plumbing trades when time permits out in the field.
- Work with an HVAC Helper and other team members on the construction sites and within timeframes for completion of projects.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or installer within the HVAC industry
- Knowledge of construction practices relevant to residential installations
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing and electrical are helpful.
- Ability to read schematics and HVAC design documents accurately
- Experience with field service operations involving air conditioning systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for company van; to be driven for work purposes only.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment is preferred.
