Job Overview
We are seeking a Compounding Sterile Pharmacist to support and oversee sterile non-hazardous and hazardous compounding operations in compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, FDA guidance (as applicable), and Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) regulations. This role is hands-on and critical to maintaining aseptic integrity, quality assurance, and operational excellence within a high-volume compounding environment.
Responsibilities
- Compound and/or verify sterile preparations in ISO-classified cleanrooms
- Ensure accuracy of formulations, calculations, labeling, and BUDs
- Supervise and support sterile compounding technicians
- Enforce aseptic technique, gowning, and cleanroom procedures
- Maintain required documentation (logs, EM, media fill, fingertip testing)
- Support inspections, audits, SOPs, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacist License (good standing)
- PharmD from an ACPE-accredited program
- 3+ year sterile compounding experience (503A/503B preferred)
- Working knowledge of USP <797> and <800>
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments and wear PPE
Compounding experience required. Compliance experience strongly preferred.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
