Overview
We are seeking a dependable, productive, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in our diesel engine parts distribution warehouse.
This position is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, picking, packing, labeling, kitting, and preparing products for shipment. Warehouse Associates may work in different areas of the operation depending on daily workload and business needs.
Accuracy, productivity, organization, safety, and teamwork are critical to this position. Employees are expected to follow warehouse procedures, maintain accurate inventory, properly use warehouse equipment and technology, and help keep the facility organized and operating efficiently.
Duties
- Receiving & Put-Away: Receive incoming products, verify quantities and condition, label materials, complete WMS transactions, and store inventory in the correct locations.
- Order Picking: Accurately pick customer orders while verifying item numbers, quantities, locations, and special instructions.
- Packing & Shipping: Verify, package, label, stage, and prepare customer orders for accurate and timely shipment.
- Kitting, Repacking & Relabeling: Assemble kits, repackage bulk products, and relabel materials while maintaining product and inventory accuracy.
- Inventory Control: Assist with cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, maintain correct inventory locations, and report inventory issues.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain clean and organized work areas, properly store products and equipment, and assist with replenishment and warehouse improvement projects.
- Safety & Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
- Team Support: Assist other warehouse departments as workload and operational priorities change.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments preferred
- Valid certification for forklift operation, reach truck, or pallet jack is highly desirable
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or AS400 is a plus
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail for order picking, packing, and inventory management
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and safety protocols in a warehouse setting

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
