Duties

- Manage all aspects of event planning, including coordinating logistics, menus, staffing, and technical requirements to ensure flawless execution.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability and adhering to company policies.
- Oversee managing event budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences aligned with client expectations.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, and event details using technical proficiency in hospitality management software.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in catering sales, event planning, or hospitality management within hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful upselling and contract negotiations.
- Excellent marketing abilities to develop campaigns that increase visibility and attract new business.
- Demonstrated ability to manage event budgets effectively while delivering high-quality service.
- Exceptional communication skills for building rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Well-organized with excellent time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies, hotel or restaurant operations, and fundraising is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software and technical tools relevant to events management.
