Our client, a leader in high-tech manufacturing and autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Vehicle Repair Technician to join their team. As a Vehicle Repair Technician (EOL), you will be an essential part of the final quality assurance process, supporting the manufacturing and testing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: End of Line Vehicle Repair Technician
Location: Hayward, CA
Pay Range: $40-$50/hour + Benefits
What's the Job?
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems on autonomous vehicles at the end of the manufacturing line.
- Execute precise repairs, system replacements, and software/firmware updates using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Utilize proprietary software and standard automotive diagnostic equipment to verify system performance and safety compliance.
- Document diagnostic findings accurately and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve systemic manufacturing issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and calibrated workspace, adhering to all safety and environmental health guidelines.
What's Needed?
- 4-6+ years of experience in automotive, aerospace, high-tech manufacturing, or field service roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, harness drawings, and technical manuals.
- Comfort with diagnostic tools, data logging, and proprietary software interfaces.
- Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN/LIN networks.
