Our client is currently seeking or in need of a Warehouse Packer – Kitter in Mesa, Arizona. A Packer/Kitting job involves accurately picking, assembling, and packaging items (components, products, materials) into specific kits or final orders for production or shipment, requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and adherence to quality/safety standards, often using warehouse equipment like scanners or forklifts. Key tasks include reading work orders, verifying contents, quality checks, labeling, and maintaining clean work areas, supporting smooth operations for manufacturing or shipping.
The Day-to-Day:
- Pack products safely and securely to prevent damage in transit.
- Assemble product kits according to work orders or instructions.
- Label boxes and prepare completed orders for shipment.
- Verify all components are included and correctly identified before closing orders.
- Maintain accuracy throughout each task to minimize errors.
- Report shortages, damages, or incorrect materials promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts, packing, and related warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of warehouse and/or production type of experience.
- At least 1 year of packing and/or kitting experience.
- Strong attention to detail with consistent, accurate work habits.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
- Basic computer skills for work orders and labeling.
- Willingness to follow general manufacturing policies and safety procedures.
Pay Rate:
- $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Saturdays as needed)
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
