Hours: Monday through Friday, 3PM-12AM, some Saturdays and overtime if production volume is high.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Supervise all aspects of production and sanitation operations.
- Foster a positive, customer-focused culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Coordinate daily production activities with Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Support quality audits and communicate quality assurance requirements to production staff.
- Assign team members to production areas and manage staffing levels, including overtime scheduling as needed.
- Troubleshoot production, quality, equipment, and operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Identify high-performing employees and support training, development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Ensure production goals are achieved safely while maintaining compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Verify that the correct materials are used throughout the manufacturing process and that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed.
- Manage inventory effectively to support production needs and minimize waste.
- Hold team members accountable for performance by providing coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when appropriate.
- Perform additional duties and assume new responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor in the food manufacturing industry.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Spanish required).
- Experience with ERP systems, including SAP and Plex, as well as time and attendance management systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, train, and discipline employees when necessary.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to work second shift, with flexibility to work occasional weekends as business needs require.
