Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation and maintenance tasks.
- Use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and power tools like drills and saws to perform electrical work efficiently.
- Measure electrical parameters using instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and voltmeters to diagnose issues accurately.
- Work on low voltage (up to 600V) systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with construction teams by assisting with frame carpentry and other related tasks during new installations or renovations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems on construction sites or industrial facilities to ensure ongoing safety and functionality.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including inspections, repairs, modifications, and compliance documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on-site or in the workplace environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes quickly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings; construction site experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage (<600V) and high voltage applications.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and construction plans.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; familiarity with power tools is essential.
- Ability to use testing instruments including ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters for accurate diagnostics.
- Familiarity with NEC standards for safe electrical installation practices.
- Experience working on construction sites or industrial facilities with a focus on safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
