Summary
Certified by the American Board of Radiology. A radiation oncologist studies and manages diseases, especially malignant tumors and radiological treatments of abnormal tissue, through the use of X-rays or radionuclides. Practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education. Work closely with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, palliative care physicians, APPs and nurses as part of a patient care team. Also works closely with radiation oncology medical physicists, dosimetrists and radiation therapists to plan and deliver radiotherapy.

Requirements: • MD/DO or equivalent • Florida license eligible • Board certified/ eligible in Radiation Oncology (board certification preferred). • ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff • DEA License
Salary Range
$396,843.20 - $492,258.21
Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
