Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, with an emphasis on infants. This role requires someone who is reliable, organized, and enjoys engaging with children through play and educational activities.
Work would start part time and transition to full time in March. Infant Experience required
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and children's belongings
- Assist with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and toileting as needed
- Provide support for children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns
Skills
- Proficient in First Aid
- CPR Certification required
- At least two years experience in caregiving and childcare settings
- Familiarity with toddler care and preschool education principles
- Ability to maintain a clean environment while caring for children
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Excellent meal preparation skills to provide healthy options for children
- Previous nannying experience is highly desirable
