Work a consistent 37.5 hours each week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 28th, serving a caseload of approximately 40-50 students across various age groups and needs. While education experience is valued, it’s not a strict requirement—your background in healthcare, school-based OT, or home health will pave the way for your success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current or eligibility to obtain NM RLD and NMPED licenses
- Experience in OT within school, healthcare, or home health settings
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to supporting students’ functional, academic, and developmental growth
- Prior exposure to educational environments preferred but not mandatory
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy for students in both elementary and secondary caseloads
- Evaluate student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize each student’s progress
- Complete timely documentation and progress monitoring
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary care plans
