If you’ve dined at Joseph Leonard, Jeffrey’s Grocery, Fairfax or Sailor, then you’ve met our family. Here at Happy Cooking Hospitality, we're looking to add Bartenders with day and night availability to our dynamic and dedicated dining room team at Joseph Leonard.
Joseph Leonard is a neighborhood bistro in a hundred year old building perched on a corner in the historic West Village. We've been welcoming our neighbors, regulars, and visitors from around the world for over seventeen years. With only 7 tables inside, a dining bar as our heart, and a small outdoor cafe, we operate on a small scale that allows us to weave narratives and build connections with our guests.

Our mission is to have fun while delivering that feeling to full rooms filled with recognizable faces. Who You Are:
Our dining room teams have heart. They're also dependable, punctual and thrive in a fast-paced environment where constant communication with teammates, managers and guests is critical to success. Qualities we look for in new teammates: a desire to learn and grow, an openness to accepting direction and feedback, and an intrinsic interest in tailoring memorable experiences for our guests.
Ideal candidates have weekday & weekend availability and are able to commit to 3-5 shifts per week. We highly value dual role players who are as comfortable behind the pine as on the floor.
