Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel comfortable and appreciated.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems like Aloha or Micros.
- Assist guests with their to-go orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items and wait times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area to uphold a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to manage seating flow and optimize guest experience.
- Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously.
Experience
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
