Job Summary
Canopy RV Resort is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and guest-focused Grounds & Maintenance Team Member to help maintain our luxury RV resort. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our grounds, facilities, and amenities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for our guests.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, has basic maintenance skills, and is comfortable interacting with guests while helping create an exceptional resort experience.
ResponsibilitiesGrounds & Landscaping
- Mow, trim, edge, weed-eat, rake, and maintain landscaped areas throughout the resort
- Maintain cleanliness of RV sites, common areas, dog parks, and walking paths
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools
- Assist with seasonal projects, beautification efforts, and property improvements
Resort Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance throughout the property
- Complete minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical, mechanical, irrigation, and sewer systems
- Maintain campground buildings, bathhouses, laundry facilities, clubhouse, pool areas, and other amenities
- Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Keep maintenance equipment, tools, and work areas clean and organized
Guest Experience
- Interact professionally and courteously with guests at all times
- Escort guests to RV sites when needed
- Help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment by communicating resort policies and addressing concerns appropriately
- Represent Canopy RV Resort with a positive and helpful attitude
General Duties
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with arrivals, departures, site preparations, and special events as needed
- Support other departments and perform additional duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, RV parks, campgrounds, hospitality, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
