Join our vibrant team as an Infant/Toddler/Preschool Floater, where you will play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting the growth of young children! In this dynamic position, you will provide essential care and educational support across various classrooms, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love for learning and development in our youngest learners.
What you’ll do
- Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning.
- Support classroom teachers by stepping into various roles as needed, maintaining continuity of care and education.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, and hands-on activities that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
- Monitor behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom & common spaces to create inviting learning environments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share insights on best practices in early childhood education.
Basic, required qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Able to work outdoors for long periods of time.
- Able to work 7:30-5:30 Monday - Friday on a permenant, long-term basis. This is not a seasonal position.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in preschool education or daycare settings that enhance your ability to connect with young learners.
- Skills in classroom management that promote effective learning atmospheres.
