Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces with meticulous attention to detail.
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning using appropriate industrial cleaning equipment.
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs promptly.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control and maintaining cleaning supplies stock levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred; hotel experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and safety procedures related to chemical handling.
