Job Description:
As a Paralegal specializing in litigation, you will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys through various phases of case preparation and management. Your expertise will help us navigate complex construction defect and mechanics lien issues while ensuring our clients receive exceptional legal assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and up to date.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and review of mechanics lien filings and responses.
- Review construction contracts and documents for relevant information.
- Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on litigation
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: corporations, real estate law, taxation, business law, civil litigation, contracts law, collections, creditors’ rights, probate, estate planning, conservatorships, trusts, trust litigation, employment law, oil and gas, and environmental law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
