The Opportunity: Greeter of a New Silver Lake Car Wash!
We are launching a premium automotive boutique, and we are looking for a high-energy, sophisticated Greeter/Sales Specialist to join our founding team. As the first point of contact for every guest, you set the tone for the entire experience. You aren't just selling a car wash; you are advising our neighbors on how to best protect and maintain their vehicles using our high quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- The "First Impression" Experience: Greet every guest with warmth and professionalism. You are responsible for making our Silver Lake clientele feel welcomed and valued from the moment they pull in.
- Strategic Sales & Consultation: Educate guests on our different service tiers. You will use your product knowledge to recommend the "Better" and "Best" packages, ensuring every guest gets the level of care their vehicle needs.
- Traffic & Stack Coordination: Act as the gatekeeper. You will monitor our lot capacity and communicate wait times honestly and professionally to prevent street congestion.
- Versatile Team Support: You must be willing to step in and assist where needed—whether that’s helping the Lot Coordinator coordinate parking or assisting the team with final quality checks during a rush.
- Point of Sale (POS) Mastery: Handle transactions quickly and accurately using our cashless digital payment systems, ensuring a seamless exit for every guest.
Requirements
- Elite Customer Service/Sales Experience: Required. We are looking for people with backgrounds in both customer service and sales.
- Persuasive Communication: You must be able to up-sell, focusing on value and vehicle protection rather than pushy tactics.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to handle high-traffic moments and discerning customers with a calm, professional demeanor.
- Car Wash Knowledge: A plus. While we train on our specific products and services, an interest in automotive care or detailing is highly beneficial.
- Positive Mindset: A can do attitude essential for a new business launch.
- Bilingual Communication Skills: Required. Fluency in both English and Spanish is a requirement to effectively serve our diverse Silver Lake community and ensure seamless communication across our entire team.
