Overview
As the leader of the health care provider team, veterinarians must orchestrate the delivery of patient care and client education to provide optimum care. Veterinarians will be expected to deliver medical care, with surgical and dental abilities preferred, while playing a key role in client education. Veterinarians must build a positive, professional relationship with clients, referral partners, and staff members to contribute to the wellbeing of patients.
All position applicants must have a valid Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license or equivalent in the state of Ohio. Veterinarians are expected to maintain their qualifications through continuing education.
Duties:
Outpatient Care
- Outpatient care responsibilities
- Inpatient care reponsibilities
- Medical records and documentation responsibilities
- Client communication and education
Leadership & Collaboration
- Contribute to hospital medical protocols and standards of care
- Collaborate with technicians, assistants, and client service representatives to deliver outstanding patient care
- Help create a positive, supportive, and efficient workplace culture
Hospital & Practice Success
- Practice medicine at an exceptional standard of care
- Advocate for every patient
- Maintain positive relationships with referral partners
- Assist with inventory awareness and medical supply management
- Help improve workflows and hospital efficiency
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Support team training and development
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
