Responsibilities:
- Make referrals to members of the extended care team and/or notify provider of post discharge needs or discrepancies in plans of care.
- Mentors, orients and provides ongoing training to current and new staff members.
- Obtain lab/x-ray reports, hospital notes, referral information, etc.
- Verify insurance coverage and patient demographics. Prepare and managing charts to ensure information completed and filed appropriately. Other front office responsibilities, as required.
- Prepare patient rooms, set up instruments and equipment according to department protocol. Clean exam/procedure rooms, instruments and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control.
- Accompany patients to exam/procedure room. Assist patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam, etc. Collect patient information/history; taking vitals, performing screenings per provider guidelines.
- Answering calls and providing pertinent information including patient education as directed.
- Perform phlebotomy, EKG's, and level one labs. Assist physicians with procedures. Document patient information into the medical record.

- Under the direction and supervision of a physician, administer injectable medication and vaccines when appropriate.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, shifts include 7AM-3:30PM, 7:30AM-4PM, & 8AM-4:30PM.
Location: Washington, Waynesburg, and Cecil, PA Offices. Must be able to travel to all three offices as needed.
