Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Apprentice to join our manufacturing team. This paid position offers hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, and assembly processes within a fast-paced industrial setting. The ideal candidate will develop essential skills in machine operation, technical drawing interpretation, and safety standards while supporting our production goals.
Duties
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, shop areas, office spaces, and storage facilities
- Deliver parts to customers and field technicians as needed
- Contribute to production operations by completing manual tasks such as measuring, coordinated team lifting, lifting and carrying boxes or hose assemblies, and stock consolidation
- General warehouse maintenence such as sweeping and cleaning work areas, breaking down cardboard boxes, disposing of waste and recylables, organizing tools and supplies, as well as restocking display inventory shelves
Requirements
- Clean driving record
- Experience working with hand tools
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgement and critical thinking
- Excellent knowledge of local and regional geographic area and ability to prioritize technician location and location of job site
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
