Job Overview
Our Machine shop is a top competitor in the sheet metal fabrication field, and we strive to create top quality products with short lead times. We are looking to hire an experienced Press Brake Operator who can perform their own set ups but also be efficient in low and high volume production runs. Must be able to work in different areas in production and perform other processes such as deburing parts, cleaning and hanging parts for powder coating prep, shipping and receiving and some other miscellaneous shop processes.
Responsibilities
- Must have at least 3 years of Press Brake Operator experience with Amada RG press brakes.
- Basic Math Skills
- Proficient in reading drawings
- Experience with measuring instruments such as calipers
- Must be able to perform their own setups
- Experience with aluminum, steel and stainless steel sheet metal forming
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Perform spot check inspections on parts
- Must know how to use power tools such as hand grinder and drill gun.
