As a Mover/Driver for Junkluggers of NYC you are the important front-line folks of our business. "Luggers" are the face of the company to our loyal customers. They are a liaison between the customer and office. This is much MORE than a physical labor or driving position; there is a huge customer service component as well. Added bonus if you have experience driving a small truck and moving furniture/heavy items!
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
You must meet all of our company's insurance requirements in order to be considered for the position.
- DRIVER'S LICENSE!
- relative violation-free and accident-free driving
The position pays $18.70 to start, and $19.50-$20.00 once you are an approved driver (plus customer tips and commissions.)
Drivers will NOT begin driving right away; a Defensive Driver's Certificate and a DOT Medical Card WILL be required before you start driving. You will have ample time to get these two things done, but the company will NOT pay for these.
Total compensation, after all factors, ranges from $20 - $24+ an hour with significant room for growth (inclusive of base hourly wage as well as customer tips).
Hours of Operation: Mainly weekdays / some weekends

Responsibilities
- Drive and operate various types of vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Load and unload freight while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize logistics processes and enhance overall customer experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
