Job Overview
Chatterbug Pediatric Therapy is seeking a qualified, motivated, and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing pediatric therapy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping children improve their communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will implement therapy plans, track progress, and contribute to a fun, supportive, and family-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement treatment plans tailored to each child’s communication goals
- Accurately record data and maintain progress notes
- Prepare engaging therapy materials and activities
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members
- Maintain compliance with Florida Department of Health and Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology standards
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Experience working with children preferred
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for helping children thrive
