Our client is a well-established large energy company looking for a driller with sater, mud, or geothermal experience.
Mobilize drilling equipment including various applications within an urban and suburban environment.
- Perform geotechnical and environmental drilling methods.
- Install test wells and conduct feasibility studies with the Geothermal team.
- Ensure project safety, organization, and security of all equipment and personnel. Willingness to crosstrain.
- Operate and care for drill rigs, machines, and other equipment as needed.
- Responsible for site safety and the safety of the drilling crew.
- Understand mechanics and requirements for drill sites.
- Hauling, lifting (60-80 lbs.), moving, loading, and digging materials and equipment.
- Requires standing and bending for extended periods of time.
- Mobilization of equipment to job site.
- Comfortability working outdoors in all elements.
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
**High School Diploma required.
- Must have an OSHA 30; SST card and Flagger certification strongly preferred.
- Must have an active Driver’s License with the ability to obtain CDL.
- Prior experience operating drilling equipment is a must.
- Understands and follow utility locate law and compliance procedures, safety protocols, instructions,
and quality regulations.
- 5+ years of construction and/or drilling experience (either NY, NJ, CT, MA Master Drilling license a
plus); IGSHPA certification preferred.
Experience with geothermal heat pumps.
Willing to travel within the Northeast.
Salary $100,000- $115,000
