Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Upsell menu items, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on customer service excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology tools
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food prep or sanitation tasks
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
