Architectural Nexus is seeking a Project Manager to join our Salt Lake City office working on Federal and industrial project types. This is an in-person role requiring close collaboration with project teams, clients, consultants, and firm leadership.
As a Project Manager with Arch Nexus, you will lead multiple architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment of scope, schedule, and budget while fostering client satisfaction and team performance. This role blends strategic planning, technical coordination, consultant integration, and collaborative leadership. Manage all aspects of multiple architectural projects with full responsibility for project delivery
Coordinate scope, schedule, budget, staffing, documentation, and communication throughout the life of each project
Serve as the primary client liaison to support client satisfaction and a meaningful project experience
Review and implement strategic project plans to support successful outcomes
Coordinate administrative and technical project efforts for efficient, cost-effective execution
Oversee client budgets, project schedules, programs, communications, documentation, and team assignments
Estimate fees, define scope of work, and help determine staffing levels
Prepare proposals and contracts under the direction of the Principal-in-Charge
Lead consultant coordination and support effective integration of project specialists
Facilitate weekly team meetings and maintain clear communication across project teams
Support consultant and BIM kickoff workshops
Monitor project financial performance and contribute to successful business outcomes
Mentor team members through targeted guidance, communication, and project leadership
Six or more years of experience in an architectural firm
Experience managing and working on Federal Projects
Degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred
Architectural licensure preferred but not required
Proven ability to manage teams, consultants, schedules, budgets, and project delivery
Strong understanding of architectural project phases from concept through construction completion
Ability to coordinate administrative and technical project requirements
Strong communication, organization, and client service skills
Ability to lead collaborative teams and foster accountability
Experience preparing or supporting proposals, contracts, scopes of work, and fee estimates
Strong knowledge of design, construction methodology, documentation, and building systems
Ability to manage time, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines efficiently
Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and related project coordination tools preferred
